I think I got some of these things wrong... Rosetta Stone does not explain grammar well at ALL. OOYYYY. At least I'm still going... here by my lonesome.

onnanohito wa booto ni norikonde imasu: The woman is boarding the boat.
otokonohito wa mizu kara dete iru tokoro desu: The man is coming forth from the water.
otokonohito wa mizu kara deta tokoro desu: The man has come forth from the water.
otokonohito wa mizu kara deru tokoro desu: The man will come forth from the water.

otokonohito to onnanohito wa yubisashite imasu: The man and woman are pointing.
onnanohito wa dochira mo yubisashite imasu: Both women are pointing.
