Yudaya kyookaidoo wa resutoran no mukaigawa ni arimasu: The synagogue is on the opposite side of the bank (doesn't really mean across the street but thats what translates best...).

This lesson is probably the one I've taken the least away from, and I'm confused about the grammar.

kono wakusee wa dosee to ii masu: This planet is called Saturn.
kono hito wa onnanohito desu: This person is a woman.
kono kuni wa Chuugoku to ii masu: This country is called China.
kono tairiku wa Afurika to ii masu: This continent is called Africa.

[Note: For all of the "rareta, rarete" stuff going on... I have no idea what that was supposed to mean. Looking it up online told me that it was either super polite or that it was the passive tense.... so confused. That's why this lesson sucked and Rosetta Stone does too.]

kono hito wa onnanoko desu: This person is a girl.
akaku nurareta kuni wa Igirisu desu: The country that has been painted red is England.

I think I got some of these things wrong... Rosetta Stone does not explain grammar well at ALL. OOYYYY. At least I'm still going... here by my lonesome.

onnanohito wa booto ni norikonde imasu: The woman is boarding the boat.
otokonohito wa mizu kara dete iru tokoro desu: The man is coming forth from the water.
otokonohito wa mizu kara deta tokoro desu: The man has come forth from the water.
otokonohito wa mizu kara deru tokoro desu: The man will come forth from the water.

otokonohito to onnanohito wa yubisashite imasu: The man and woman are pointing.
onnanohito wa dochira mo yubisashite imasu: Both women are pointing.
hidari no otokonoko ga yubiashite imasu: The boy on the left is pointing.

[Note: I learned that verbs like "ageru", when written "ageyoo" or "ageyou", count as the volitional form. This means someone is about to do something or that they are trying to do something.]
