Japanese Unit 7 Lesson 10

otokonoko wa tobikoero tokoro desu: The boy will jump.
otokonoko wa tobikoete imasu: The boy is jumping.
otokonoko wa tobikoemashita: The boy jumped.
otokonoko wa oyoide imasu: The boy is swimming.

otokonoko wa boo o tobikoeru tokoro desu: The boy will jump over the poles.
otokonoko wa boo o tobikoete imasu: The boy is jumping over the sticks.
otokonoko wa boo o tobikoemashita: The boy jumped over the sticks.
otokonoko wa mizu no naka o oyoide imasu: The boy is swimming in the water.

kodomo tachi wa ki ni nobotte imasu: The children are climbing in the tree.
kodomo tachi wa suberiorite imasu: The children are sliding down.
sagyooin wa hashigo o nobotte imasu: The worker is climbing the ladder.
otokonoko wa yama o nobotte imasu: The boy is climbing the mountain.

ue o mite imasu: Look up
shita o mite imasu: Look down
madogoshi ni mite imasu: Look out the window
mado o mite imasu: Look at the window

kaubooi wa oushi ni noroo to shite imasu: The cowboy is about to ride the bull?
kaubooi wa oushi ni noru koto ga dekimasen: The cowboy cannot ridethe bull.
otokonoko wa uma no shoogaiutsu o tobikoeyoo to shite imasu: The boy is about to jump over the horse obstacles.
otokonoko wa korobimashita: The boy fell.

inu wa furisubii o kuchi ni kuwaete imasu: The dog is holding the frisbee in its mouth.
inu wa booshi o kuchi ni kuwaete imasu: The dog is holding the hat in its mouth.
inu no kuchi wa aite ite, sono naka wa kara desu: The dog's mouth is open, it is empty inside.
inu no kuchi wa tojite ite, sono naka wa kara desu: The dog's mouth is closed, it is empty inside.

inu wa furisubii o kyatchi shiyoo to shite imasu: The dog is about to catch the frisbee.
inu wa furisubii o kyatchi shimashita: The dog caught the frisbee.
kaubooi wa koushi o tsukamaeyoo to shite imasu: The cowboy is about to catch the bull calf.
kaubooi wa koushi o tsukamaemashita: The cowboy caught the bull calf.

otokonohito wa roopu o tsukatte imasu: The man is using a rope.
onnanohito wa kamera o tsukatte imasu: The woman is using a camera.
otokonohito wa pen o tsukatte imasu: The man is using a pen.
hitobito wa booto o tsukatte imasu: Everyone's using the boat.

yama ni noboru tame ni roopu o tsukatte imasu: In order to climb a mountain a rope can be used. (or is it.. use a rope to climb a mountain. or .. you use a rope to climb a mountain.?)
shashin o toru tame ni kamera o tsukatte imasu: In order to take a picture a camera can be used.
kaku tami ni pen o tsukatte imasu: In order to write a pen can be used.
mukoogawa e iku tami ni booto o tsukatte imasu: In order to get to the other side a boat can be used.

kaubooi wa koushi o tsukamaeru tami ni roopu o tsukatte imasu: The cowboy uses a rope in order to catch the bull calf.
kaubooi wa koushi o shibaru tame ni roopu o tsukatte imasu: The cowboy uses a rope to tie the bull calf.
kaubooi wa roopu o tsukawanaide koushi o tsukamaete imasu: The cowboy is not using a rope to catch the bull calf.
kaubooi wa koushi o mochiagete imasu: The cowboy is lifting a bull calf.


This was hard because there are some tenses here I am confused about, also confused about commands and if they are switching over to the imperative form before my eyes or not.
