[Note: 'kore' vs 'kono'. Kore stands on its own. Kono must be used with a noun right after. ]

kore wa seehookee (seihoukei) desu: This is a square.
kore wa seehookee no yoo (you) desu ga, seehookee dewa arimasen: This is like a square, but isn't a square.
kore wa sankakkee (sankakukei) desu: This is a triangle.
kore wa sankakkee no yoo desu ga, sankakke dewa arimasen: This is like a triangle, but isn't a triangle.

kono hito tachi wa onnanohito desu: These people are women.
kono hito tachi wa onnanohito no yoo desu ga, onnanohito dewa (deha) arimasen. manekin desu: These peopl eare like women, but are not women. They're mannequins.
kono hito tachi wa uchuuhikooshi desu: These people are astronauts.
kono hito tachi wa uchuuhikooshi no yoo desu ga, uchuuhikooshi dewa arimasen: These people are like astronauts, but they are not astronauts.

korera no katachi wa minna en desu: These shapes are all circles.
korera no katachi wa minna sankakkee desu: These shapes are all triangles.
korera no katachi no uchi no mittsu ga en de, hitotsu ga sankakkee desu: Out of these shapes three are circles, one is a triangle.
korera no katachi no uchi no futatsu ga aka de, futatsu ga ao desu: Out of these shapes two are red and two are blue.

kuroi en wa migiue ni arimasu: The black circle is in the upper right.
kuroi en wa hidariue ni arimasu:The black circle is in the upper left.
kuroi sankakkee wa migishita ni arimasu: The black triangle is in the lower right.
kuroi sankakkee wa hidarishita ni arimasu: The black triangle is in the lower left.

ikutsuka no en wa kuroi desu: Some of the circles are black.
hotondo no en wa kiiroi desu ga, hitotsu wa kuroi desu: Most of the circles are yellow, one is black.
ikutsuka no sankakkee wa kuroi desu: Some of the triangles are black.
hotondo no sankakkee wa kiiroi desu ga, hitotsu wa kuroi desu: Most of the triangles are yellow, one is black.

hotondo no en wa kiiroi desu: Most of the circles are yellow.
hotondo no en wa kuroi desu: Most of the circles are black.
sankakkee wa minna kiiroi desu: All of the triangles are yellow.
hotondo no sankakkee wa kiiroi desu: Most of the triangles are yellow.

hotondo no en wa kuroi desu: Most of the circles are black.
hotondo no en wa kiiroi desu: Most of the circles are yellow.
hitotsu no en ga aokute, hoka wa akai desu: One of the circles is blue, the rest are red.
hitotsu no en dake ga aoi desu: Only one of the circles is blue.

hitotsu no en wa kurokute,hoka wa kiiroi desu: One of the circles is black, the rest are yellow.
hotondo no en wa kurokute, hitotsu wa midori desu: Most of the circles are black, one is green.
hotondo no en wa akakute, ikutsuka wa midori desu: Most of the circles are red, some are green.

aoi en wa ookikute, akai en wa chiisai desu: The blue circles are big, the red circles are small.
akai en wa ookikute, aoi en wa chiisai desu: The red circles are big, the blue circles are small.
sankakkee wa en no ue ni arimasu: The triangles are above the circles.
en wa sankakke no mae ni arimasu: The circles are in front of the triangles.

hotondo no kuroi seehookee wa ookikute, shiroi seehookee wa minna chiisai desu: Most of the black squares are big, all of the white squares are small.
kuroi seehookee wa minna ookikute, ikutsuka no shiroi seehookee wa chiisai desu: The black squares are all big, some of the white squares are small.
ikutsuka no ookii sankakkee wa midori de, chiisai sankakkee wa minna haiiro desu: Some of the big triangles are green, the small triangles are all gray.
ooki sankakkee wa minna midori de, ikutsuka no chiisai sankakkee wa haiiro desu: The big triangles are all green, some of the small triangles are gray.
