Japanese Unit 4 Lesson 6

I'm getting so lazy (aka, missed one day). Not one day can be missed if I want to get anywhere with this... I need support. :/

onnanoko wa hana no nioi o kaide imasu: The girl is smelling the flower. (nioi = scent, kaide = no idea).
otokonoko wa terebi o mite imasu: The boy is watching the television.
otokonoko wa hana no nioi o kaide imasu: The boy is smelling the flower.
onnanoko wa terebi o mite imasu: The girl is watching the television.

onnanohito wa kuruma o unten suru tokoro desu: The woman is going to drive the car (suru= I don't know.. there are so many definitions. Try? Practice?)
onnanohito wa uma ni notte imasu: The woman is riding the horse.
onnanohito wa uma ni kisu o shite imasu: The woman is kissing the horse.
onnanohito wa uma o hashirasete imasu: The woman is making the horse run. (more literal translation..)

otokonoko wa hana no nioi o kaide imasu: The boy is smelling the flower.
otokonoko wa hana no nioi o kaide imasen: The boy is not smelling the flower.
onnanoko wa kami o burashi de tokashite imasu: The girl is brushing her hair.
onnanoko wa odotte imasu: The girl is dancing.

onnanohito wa booshi o kabutte imasu: The woman is wearing a hat (on her head).
otokonohito wa uma no hizume o sawatte imasu: The man is touching the horse's hoof.
otokonohito wa uma no mimi o sawatte imasu: The man is touching the horse's ear.
otokonohito wa tebukuro o shite imasu: The man is putting on a glove.

otokonohito wa basha ni norikonde imasu: The man is boarding the coach.
otokonohito wa torakku ni norikonde imasu: The man is boardin the truck.
onnanohito wa otokonohito ni kisu o shite imasu: The man and woman are kissing. (or is it that the woman is kissing the man? I don't know.)
onnanohito wa uma ni kisu o shite imasu: The woman is kissing the horse.

onnanoko wa terebi o mite imasen: The girl is not watching the television.
onnanoko wa booshi o kabutte, terebi o mite imasu: The girl is wearing a hat and watching the television (or is it, the girl wearing the hat is watching television)?
onnanoko wa terebi o minagara, kami o burashi de tokashite imasu: The girl is watching television while brushing her hair.
onnanoko wa terebi o minagara, odotte imasu: The girl is watching television while dancing.

onnanohito wa denshipiano o hiki nagara, utatte imasu: The woman plays the electric piano while singing. (Or could this be translated as While the woman plays electric piano, she sings ? The word "since", or "node" from an earlier chapter came after the first part of the sentence but was meant to be put in front. HELP MEEE).
onnanohito wa denshipiano o hiki nagara, nonde imasu: The woman plays the piano while drinking.
onnanohito wa handobaggu o mochi nagara, kami o burashi de tokashite imasu: The woman holds a handbag while brushing her hair.
onnanohito wa handobaggu o mochi nagara, kaite imasu: The woman holds a handbag while writing.

otokonohito wa hon o mochi nagara, shaberu o toroo to shite imasu: The man holds a book while _____ the shovel (toroo = ? ... touching? reaching for?)
otokonohito wa shaberu o mochi nagara, yubisashite imasu: The man holds the shovel while pointing.
inu ga ashi no aida ni tatte iru aida, otokonohito wa hon o yonde imasu: The dog stands on his legs?? while the man reads a book. (I feel like an idiot with this one... why two aida's? is aida the same as "nagara (while)" except indicating another person?)
otokonoko ga kiite iru aida, otokonohito wa hon o yonde imasu: The boy listens while the man reads a book.

hitori no onnanoko waaruki nagara, booshi o osaete imasu: The one girl walks while holding her hat (osaete = holding? don't know.).
otokonohito wa basha ni suwari nagara, nonde imasu: The man sits on the coach while drinking.
otokonoko ga saku o nobotte iru aida, otokonohito wa jitensha ni suwatte imasu: The boy climbs the fence while the man sits on the bike.
otokonohito ga kaite iru aida, kodomo tachi wa mite imasu: The man writes while the kids watch.

otokonohito ga mite iru aida, otokonoko wa kaidan o nobotte imasu: The man watches while the boy climbs the stairs.
daremo mite inai aida ni, otokonoko wa kaidan o nobotte imasu: No one watches while the boy climbs the stairs.
kono otokonohito tachi wa juu o motte, mizu no naka o aruite imasu: The men are holding guns(?) and walking in the water. (another one where I wonder if its "the men holding guns are walking in the water".)
kono otokonohito tachi wa juu o motte, kooshin shite imasu: The men are holding guns and marching.

To anyone who may one day read this, forgive me for all the mistakes and misgivings. This was a hard lesson, and I hope that later I can come back and fill in some of my own questions. Siggh.
