otokonohito wa kaato o oshite imasu: The man is pushing the cart.
onnanohito wa hako o oshite imasu: The woman is pushing the box.
otokonohito tachi wa matto o oshite imasu: The men are pushing the mat.

otokonohito wa kaato o hiite imasu: The man is pulling the cart.
kouma wa kaato o hiite imasu: The pony is pulling the cart.
karera wa matto o hippatte imasu: They are pulling the mat.

otokonohito wa koppu ippai no mizu o motte imasu. nonde imasen: The man is holding a cup full of water. He is not drinking.
otokonohito wa koppu ippai no mizu o nonde imasu: The man is drinking a cup full of water.

onnanohito wa kaidan o nobotte imasu: The woman is climbing the stairs.
onnanohito wa hako o oshite imasu: The woman is pushing the box.
otokonohito wa kodomo o kataguruma shite imasu: The man is giving the child a piggyback ride.

onnanohito wa otokonohito ni okane o agete imasu: The woman is giving money to the man. (The woman is giving the man money is another way to think of it... does it matter?)
