Japanese Unit 5 Lesson 2

otokonoko: Boy
otokonoko to sono otoosan: Boy and the father. (sono means that near the speaker mentally. confusing right now, but maybe I'll get it soon. I'm going to say "the" right now, because saying boy and that father seems weird).
otokonoko to sono inu: Boy and the dog.
otokonoko to issho ni inai otokonoko no inu: The boy is not with his dog.

kimpatsu no onnanohto to sono inu: Blonde woman and the dog.
otokonohito to sono inu: Man and the dog.
kuroi kami no onnanohito to sono inu: Black haired woman and the dog.
otokonoko to sono inu: Boy and the dog.

onnanohito wa kanojo no inu o sampo sasete imasu: The woman is walking her dog. (sampo = walk and saseru = make (someone) do. So it is actually The woman is making the dog walk. But I don't think that's how it would translate in English. Am I right?)
otokonoko wa kare no inu o sampo sasete imasu: The boy is walking his dog.
dareka ga sambiki no inu o sampo sasete imasu: Someone is walking the dogs (three dogs? what is sambiki?)
onnanohito tachi wa kanojora no inu o sampo sasete imasu: The girls are walking their dogs. (Kanojora is they, but feminine, like karera is the male version)

onnanohito no booshi wa kuroi desu: The woman's hat is black.
otokonohito no herumetto wa shiroi desu: The man's helmet is white.
onnanohito no uma wa tonde imasu: The woman's horse is jumping.
otokonohito no uma wa se o magete haneagatte imasu: The man's horse is currently bending and jumping. (???)

onnanoko no kutsushita wa shiroi desu: The girl's socks are white.
onnanoko no shatsu wa shiroi desu: The girl's shirt is white.
otokonohito no inu wa chiisai desu: The man's dog is small.
otokonohito no inu wa hon o yonde imasu: The man's dog is reading. (ha)

kanojo no neko to issho no dareka: Her cat is with her. (dareka = someone, or that person. it means that person here, I think, so I might as well say "her".)
kanojo no uma to issho no dareka: Her horse is with her.
kare no neko to issho no dareka: His cat is with him.
kare no uma to issho no dareka: His horse with with him.

otokonohito wa jibun no shatsu o kite imasu: The man is wearing his shirt.
kono shatso wa otokonoko no shatsu dewa arimasen. ookisugi masu: This shirt is not the boy's shirt. It's oversized.
otokonohito no shatsu ga teeburu no ue ni arimasu: The man's shirt is on the table.
kono shatsu wa otokonohito no shatsu dewa arimasen. chiisasugi desu: This shirt is not the man's shirt. It's too small.

onnanohito no booshi: Woman's hat
otokonohito no booshi: Man's hat
otokonohito no te: Man's hand
onnanohito no te: Woman's hand

kodomo no kuruma: Child's car
otona no kuruma: Adult's car
kodomo no fuku: Children's clothes
otona no fuku: Adults' clothes

onnanohito no tebukuro: Woman's gloves
otokonohito no tebukuro: Men's gloves
onnanohito tachi no ashi: Women's legs
onnanohito no ashi: Woman's legs.

Oh grammar.. become magically clearer to me!

I believe sambiki is brown? so brown dogs
